Maps a value or field from [in_min, in_max] onto [out_min, out_max]; inputs beyond either end hold that end's result. Continuity picks a linear or an eased transition. A common source for the factor of a Mix.
Shape of the transition: geometric is linear (C0), tangent eases in and out with smoothstep (C1), curvature with smootherstep (C2).
The value to map.
Input that maps to out_min.
Input that maps to out_max.
Result at in_min and beyond it.
Result at in_max and beyond it.
Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.
The field read as a Solid whose surface is where the field is zero.
The box the field is evaluated in.
The field with its sign flipped (−f), which swaps inside and outside.
The field divided by its gradient length (f/|∇f|) so it reads close to a true distance; the zero set does not move.
