Turns a quad mesh into a watertight CAD body: one smooth B-spline patch per quad (a Catmull-Clark surface; a mostly-quad mesh is refined once first), with the creases from Triangles to Quads as sharp edges and a tangent break next to irregular points. When the mesh comes from a Solid, the surface is fitted onto the Solid, folded patches are repaired, and a warning says where it stays more than the meshing tolerance off or could not be cleaned (Export STEP still writes it, Export Parasolid does not). Faces of the bodies in CAD faces to reuse that lie fully on the result are kept. For a Solid, Solid to CAD Body is the more reliable way.
A quad mesh, e.g. from Triangles to Quads. Required.
Optional CAD bodies (for example the imported original) whose faces are stitched into the result wherever they lie fully on its surface; their other faces are left out.
Values the block gives besides its output. The editor lists them under Properties, and an input can read one by reference.
How many bodies the list holds.
How many separate small pieces Remove small pieces took off the mesh the bodies were made from. Given by Solid to CAD Body; not listed for other lists.
The volume of the pieces Remove small pieces took off, in percent of the part's. Given by Solid to CAD Body; not listed for other lists.
